Steady Pace Through a Longer Finish Troy Blessing completed the 10K in 1:02:12, finishing well behind his 2025 Boulderthon time of 52:26 on the same 6.2-mile distance. His race unfolded with a strong opening mile at 9:30 min/mile, holding a tight cumulative pace in the 9:30s through the first three miles before gradually easing to a 10:01 min/mile overall average by the finish. The middle miles showed some fluctuation, with mile splits ranging from 9:43 to 10:25, before a final mile split of 10:51 closed out the race. Blessing's 10K start came at 8:10 AM, one of the later waves on Boulderthon morning, capping his run with a finish on the historic Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder a city sitting above 5,000 feet of elevation, adding context to any pace shifts across the course.
