Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Edwin Terrazas #31532 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Steady Early Miles Give Way to a Tough Closing Stretch Edwin Terrazas covered the 10K in 57:56, holding a strong early rhythm before the pace eased over the second half. His fastest miles came right out of the gate 8:54 and 8:56 for miles one and two before a gradual climb in mile times through miles three and four. He rallied briefly with a 9:04 fifth mile, then closed with an 11:03 final mile as the effort caught up with him. That opening pair of miles stands as the highlight of his race, holding sub-9:00 pace before the effort naturally settled. Running at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet adds context to the effort throughout. Terrazas capped his day with a finish on the historic Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a fitting finish line for the effort he put in over the preceding miles.
