Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Waleed Hamideh #24791 Race: 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles

Fast Out, Faster Back In Waleed Hamideh finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:49:55, holding an 8:23 min/mile pace across the 13.1-mile course. His race moved in two distinct phases. Through the first six miles, Hamideh clicked off splits between 7:54 and 8:08, reaching the 10K mark in 48:00 for an 8:00 min/mile average his strongest sustained stretch of the day. The middle miles eased, with splits drifting to 8:419:55 as the course wound through Boulder County backroads toward Boulder Reservoir. He closed well, dropping his final mile back to 8:02 before finishing on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder. Given that even split, he might consider working to sustain more of that early rhythm through the back half next time.
