Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Maleah Wardlaw #24547 Race: 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles

Steady Pacing Powers a Strong Half-Marathon Finish Maleah Wardlaw crossed the line in 1:39:30, good for 334th overall and 65th among women in the field of 7,223 at the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon. Her overall pace of 7:35 per mile reflected a remarkably consistent effort, with mile splits rarely straying more than 15 seconds from that mark across the 13.1-mile course. After an early mile of 7:47, Wardlaw settled into rhythm, clicking off miles in the 7:227:44 range through the middle stretch. Her strongest mile came late, a 7:13 split at mile 12, as she closed with a 7:22 final mile to seal her finish. Given that the race finishes on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, sitting above 5,000 feet, this even effort throughout stands out as a well-managed race from start to finish.
