That middle mile stands out as the highlight of the race, showing a real gear shift before the closing stretch into downtown Boulder. Given the finish sits at altitude over 5,000 feet, the early pace management paid off in the second mile. Ronnell might consider working on sustaining that middle-mile strength through the final stretch in future races, an easy adjustment given the clear capability already shown here.
