Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Jameson Young #30433 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Strong Start Carries Her to a Top Finish Jameson Young crossed the 10K in 47:58, finishing 116th overall out of the field of 3,071 and 34th among women, with a runner-up finish in the 15-19 age group. That result reflects a race built on early control and a steady effort through the closing miles. Young's opening mile was her fastest, clicking off in 7:32, and she carried that rhythm through the middle miles before easing slightly over the final two, closing in 8:28 for the last mile. The pacing shape shows a runner who committed early and managed the tail end smart rather than pushing into it. Running through Boulder's altitude, above 5,000 feet, that early pace stands out as the highlight of her race.
