Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Kamryn Klepper #31966 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Steady Pace Through Five Miles Before a Late Fade Kamryn Klepper finished the 10K in 56:56, an average pace of 9:11 per mile. She settled into a strong rhythm early, covering miles two through five in a tight band between 8:46 and 9:02, highlighted by an 8:46 second mile that stood as her fastest of the race. That consistency carried her through five miles in 44:44, before the final mile slowed to 10:29, pulling her overall pace back toward 9:11. Racing at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet, Klepper crossed the finish on the Pearl Street Mall, the historic downtown stretch that caps every distance at the event. Her even-effort middle miles show good pacing discipline; tightening that closing mile could be a useful focus for a future race here.
