Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Jackson Davis #30962 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Steady Start Fades Into a Determined Finish Jackson Davis completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 57:20, an average pace of 9:14 per mile across the field of 3,071. Davis opened strong, covering the first two miles in 17:14 (8:37 per mile), the fastest sustained stretch of his race. Cumulative pace held near 9:00 per mile through the middle miles before easing slightly, then Davis dug into a final mile that pushed his overall time to 10:40 for that stretch. The race, run at altitude in Boulder, over 5,000 feet, tested pacing discipline throughout, and Davis's early miles set a foundation that carried him to the finish. He crossed the line on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, capping the morning with a strong closing effort after a well-managed opening pace.
