Steady Pacing Powers a Top-15 Marathon Finish Relena Ribbons finished the marathon in 3:02:56, placing 15th overall and 2nd among women, with a 2nd-place age-group finish, at the 2026 Boulderthon. Ribbons ran an even opening, covering the first ten miles in roughly 6:49 pace per mile before a strong mile 11 split of 6:26. Pace gradually eased through the second half, dipping to 7:39 by mile 23, before she closed with a 7:10 final mile to the finish. The steadiest stretch came across miles 1 through 10, where splits stayed within a narrow 6:417:05 band. Boulder's elevation, over 5,000 feet, made that early consistency especially notable. She capped the effort with a finish on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder.
