Steady Pacing Delivers a Near-Identical Finish to Past Boulderthons Kabir Ghale crossed the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:54:26, essentially matching his 2023 result (1:54:18) and improving slightly on his 2025 finish (1:55:00). His pacing stayed remarkably consistent through the race, hovering between 8:31 and 8:52 per mile for the first ten miles before a dip in mile 11. That eleventh mile, at 10:05, was his slowest of the day, but he answered with his strongest stretch of the race over the final two miles 8:04 and 7:58 closing well after passing near the lululemon Power-Up Zone around mile 9.5. Given how tightly his three Boulderthon halves now cluster in time, he might experiment with a slightly faster early pace next time to see if it changes the closing math.
