Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Ramakrishna Vaitla #41114 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Strong Start Fades Late in Final Mile Push Ramakrishna Vaitla completed the 5K at the 2026 Boulderthon in 25:06, an 8:06/mile pace. He moved confidently through the first two miles, clocking 7:26 and 7:01, respectively, before his pace eased to 9:45 over the closing mile to the Pearl Street Mall finish. That second mile, covered in 7:01, stood out as his fastest mile of the race. Racing at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet, Vaitla's early pace reflects a solid application of effort before the finish. With a strong front-half rhythm already established, he has a good foundation to build more even pacing across the full distance in future starts.
