Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Vincent Armendariz #32239 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Faster Finish Shaves Nearly Four Minutes Off 10K Time Vincent Armendariz ran the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 56:58, a solid improvement over his 1:00:51 finish in the 2025 race nearly four minutes faster and a jump of more than 200 places in the overall standings. His cumulative pace held in the 8:59 range through five miles before easing to 9:11 by the finish, a sign of a race run with control rather than a fade. His strongest stretch came early: miles one through three ticked by in 8:44, 8:55, and 8:54, the most consistent and quickest running of his day. That opening rhythm set up the rest of the race well. Boulder sits above 5,000 feet, and finishing this one on the historic Pearl Street Mall made for a satisfying close to a well-paced effort.
