Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Severin Mangold #30902 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Strong Finish Fuels a Steady 10K Effort Severin Mangold covered the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 59:47, an average pace of 9:38 per mile. His race built steadily through the middle miles, holding in the 9:249:36 range from mile two through four before surging to a race-best 8:47 in mile five. The final mile eased to 10:34, still closing out a well-paced overall effort across the 6.2-mile distance. Racing at Boulder's altitude above 5,000 feet, Mangold's fifth mile stood out as his fastest of the day, a strong push before the finish on the Pearl Street Mall. With a consistent middle stretch and a swift fifth mile, he might look to carry more of that mile-five energy into the closing mile next time out.
