Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Neve Christensen #31524 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Steady Pace Carries Strong Finishing Kick Over Final 10K Miles Neve Christensen completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:01:02, holding a consistent pace across the field of 3,071. Her race settled into a rhythm through the first two miles at an even 10:00 min/mile before a brief dip to 10:17 in mile three. From there, Christensen found another gear, clocking a 9:35 fourth mile and an 8:57 fifth mile her fastest of the race. That surge through miles four and five stood out as the strongest stretch of her run, showing a runner who built momentum in the race's second half rather than fading. The 10K course, like all Boulderthon distances, finished on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a fitting close to a race run at altitude above 5,000 feet.
