Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Luis Rodriguez #32318 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Strong Early Pace Fades Late in Steady 10K Finish Luis Rodriguez completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 55:24, an 8:56 min/mile pace, out of a field of 3,071. Rodriguez opened fast, clocking a 7:56 first mile and holding 7:41 through mile two, his quickest mile of the race. From there, each split gradually slowed, with the final mile landing at 10:34 as cumulative pace drifted from 7:48 to 8:56 by the finish. The early miles set a strong foundation, and Rodriguez may find that distributing effort more evenly across the back half could help him hold onto that early rhythm through the finish on the Pearl Street Mall.
