Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Vladimir Martinez #26892 Race: 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles

Steady Half Effort Builds to a Strong Closing Mile Vladimir Martinez finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:46:05, a slight step back from his 1:43:49 the previous year. He opened quick, covering the first two miles at 7:25-7:27 pace, then settled into the high 7:00s through mile 6. Miles 7-9 slowed into the 8:23-8:59 range before he found his footing again over the final stretch. Miles 11-13 were his standout stretch, dropping to a 7:53 pace across those miles after the mid-race dip, closing out the Half Marathon on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder. Given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet, that late surge stands out as a well-managed finish.
