Strong Finishing Kick Caps a Steady Half Marathon Michael Moser finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:50:07, averaging 8:24 per mile. His race moved through clear phases: a brisk opening mile, a strong surge through miles 4-6, then a slight settling from miles 7-10 before a decisive close. His final two miles, run at 7:45 and 7:47, were the fastest of his race, pulling his overall pace back down to 8:24 per mile by the finish. That push came after crossing near the lululemon Power-Up Zone around mile 9.5, and carried him on to the Pearl Street Mall finish in downtown Boulder a finish line that, at over 5,000 feet of elevation, sits well above sea level for every runner on the course.
