Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Vinh Hue #32667 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Steady Miles Capped by a Strong Mid-Race Surge Vinh Hue finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 55:10, holding a consistent pace through the first four miles between 8:46 and 8:56 per mile before dropping to 8:28 for mile five his fastest mile of the race. The final mile eased to 9:49 as he closed out the course. Racing at over 5,000 feet of elevation, Hue's mile-five surge stood out as the highlight of an otherwise even effort, with his overall pace settling right around 8:53 per mile for the distance. The consistency through the middle miles suggests a well-managed pace; a touch more left for the closing stretch could be one area to explore next time out.
