Strong Middle Mile Powers a Steady 5K Finish Dawson Wolff crossed the line in 32:04 to complete the 5K at the 2026 Boulderthon, finishing 801st overall out of the field of 2,677 and 96th in the men's 20-24 division. Wolff opened with an 11:05 first mile before surging to an 8:29 second mile, his fastest stretch of the race by a wide margin. He closed with an 11:21 final mile, settling back near his opening pace to complete the course. That middle-mile burst marked the clear highlight of his effort, showing a strong gear shift through the race's midsection. Running at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet added a layer of difficulty to the effort, making that second-mile push especially notable.
