Strong Start Carries Steady Pace Through Boulders 10K Lauren Keiser finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 59:25, averaging 9:35 per mile. She opened briskly, covering the first two miles in 9:05 and 9:07, then eased through the middle miles before the pace loosened further in the final stretch, closing with a 10:39 mile as she made her way toward the Pearl Street Mall finish. Those opening two miles stood as the strongest stretch of her race, run more than a minute per mile faster than her closing mile. Given Boulders elevation above 5,000 feet, that early rhythm reflects a well-paced approach to a demanding altitude before the effort naturally settled in the later miles.
