Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Brynn Butcher #32424 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Strong Finish Anchors a Steady 10K Brynn Butcher, 24, of Denver, completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 58:24, an average pace of 9:25 per mile. Her race settled into a consistent rhythm through the middle miles, holding between 9:19 and 9:51 pace from mile two through four, before her fifth mile emerged as the standout stretch a 8:24 clip, well under her overall average. That surge built a cushion before the pace eased back to 9:56 over the closing mile as she made her way into downtown Boulder. The finish came on the historic Pearl Street Mall, a shared finish line for every distance in the race, in a city sitting above 5,000 feet of elevation a natural talking point for any runner's effort that day.
