Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Graham Fallet #40887 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Strong Middle Mile Powers Steady 5K Finish Graham Fallet completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 28:51, an overall pace of 9:18 per mile. His race built momentum through the middle before settling in over the closing mile: an opening 10:22 first mile gave way to a much faster 8:22 second mile, his fastest of the race, before a 9:04 third mile brought him home. Like every distance at Boulderthon, Graham's 5K finished on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a fitting close to a race run at over 5,000 feet of elevation. The strong second-mile surge stands out as the highlight of his effort worth building from on a future race.
