Her mile splits tightened steadily across the race, opening at 9:05 and settling into the high 8:40s before her strongest stretch: miles 4 through 6 clicked off in roughly 8:36 average pace, capped by a 8:09 fifth mile, the fastest of her race. That surge carried her cumulative pace down to 8:46 min/mile by the finish. Boulder's elevation over 5,000 feet makes that late push notable, and with a smooth finish already banked, Lexi might consider working on an even earlier build to carry that closing strength further into the middle miles next time.
