Steady Pace Powers Strong 5K Finish Grant Marine finished the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 23:23, an average pace of 7:32 per mile. The result placed him 159th overall out of the field of 2,677 and 122nd among men. Grant's opening mile came in at 7:39 before he picked things up to 7:15 in the second mile, his fastest stretch of the race. He held that effort well, closing with a 7:31 final mile for a consistent, well-managed pace across the course. Racing at altitude in Boulder, which sits above 5,000 feet, adds weight to that even effort, and the finish sets a solid, versatile benchmark for future 5K efforts.
