Strong Middle Mile Anchors a Steady 5K Anabelle Harden completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 30:19. Her second mile was the highlight, a brisk 8:40 that pulled her cumulative pace down to 9:03 min/mile after a 9:27 opening mile. The final mile slowed to 11:05, tempering the overall finish to 9:46 min/mile, but the middle-mile surge stands as the race's clearest strength. Harden's 5K unfolded at over 5,000 feet of elevation in Boulder, and it wrapped up with the field finishing on the historic Pearl Street Mall downtown.
