Steady Pacing Closes with a Strong Final Mile Morgan Bolinger improved on her 2025 Boulderthon half marathon result, finishing in 1:55:15 this year compared to 1:57:47 previously a gain of nearly two and a half minutes and better placement in both the overall and gender fields. After an opening mile at 9:22, Bolinger settled into a consistent rhythm through the middle miles, holding paces mostly between 8:33 and 9:04 as she worked through the course. She closed strong, with her final mile clocking 8:13 her fastest of the race capping a well-managed effort that finished on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a city sitting at over 5,000 feet of elevation. The finishing kick suggests room to push mid-race pace closer to that closing effort in future races.
