Strong Start Fades Late in Steady 10K Effort Trevor Leidig, 18, of Loveland, CO, finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:11:27, an 11:31/mile pace, placing 33rd in the M 15-19 division. Trevor's race opened fast and consistent, with the first three miles clicking off between 10:14 and 10:28 each his strongest stretch of the day, holding an average pace near 10:20/mile through the 5K mark. From there, the pace eased through miles four through six, settling into the low-to-mid 12s and finishing with a 13:11 final mile as cumulative pace drifted from 10:20 to 11:31 by the finish. Racing at over 5,000 feet of elevation in Boulder, Trevor's early miles showed the kind of controlled quickness worth building on a slightly more even effort across the back half could help him carry that opening pace further next time.
