That's a two-minute improvement over his 2025 Boulderthon half marathon, when he finished in 1:24:38. The race unfolded evenly, with early miles settling into the low-6:teens before a slight dip through miles 7-9 in the 6:26-6:31 range. He answered with his fastest mile of the day, a 5:55 split at mile 12, before closing in 6:14 to seal the finish. That mile 12 surge stands out as the strongest stretch of the race, showing a well-timed push before the finish on the Pearl Street Mall.
