Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Erin Flamm #41731 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Strong Middle Mile Powers a Steady 5K Finish Erin Flamm finished the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 33:19. Her race opened at an 11:21 pace through the first mile, then surged to a 9:29 second mile before easing back to 11:16 over the final stretch, producing a race shape built around a strong middle push rather than a steady descent. That second mile stood as her fastest of the day, a clear highlight in an otherwise even effort across the 5K distance. Her run closed on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a fitting finish line given Boulder's elevation of over 5,000 feet, a backdrop that adds weight to any pace held across the course.
