Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Zelda Kieser #40751 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Steady Pace Through Downtown Finish Zelda Kieser completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 50:38. Her race built with a strong middle mile, easing from a 16:56 opening mile to a 15:48 second mile before settling into a 16:07 closing mile that second mile stood as her fastest stretch of the race. Boulder's elevation, over 5,000 feet, adds context to any pacing across the field, and Kieser's race ended where every distance does, with a finish on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder. Her closing mile pace suggests a touch of fade after that strong middle stretch worth a look if she returns for another Boulderthon 5K.
