Steady Pace Powers a Top-Finish Half Marathon Caleb Hendy finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:19:21, an average pace of 6:03 per mile, placing 35th overall and 30th among men in a field of 7,223. Hendy opened with his fastest mile of the day at 5:50, then held a tight band between 5:55 and 6:21 through the middle miles as cumulative pace crept from 5:50 to 6:03 by the finish. He closed strong, running 5:58 and 6:01 over the final two miles to match his early rhythm and finish with control. That consistency stood out over the back half of the course, where paces held within 15-20 seconds of each other from mile 9 to mile 13.
