Steady Start Fuels a Strong Finish Push Tracey Flower completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 58:06, an average pace of 9:22 per mile. Her opening mile was her fastest of the race at 8:54, and she held between 8:57 and 9:11 cumulative pace through the first three miles. The fourth mile slowed to 9:50, before she settled back toward her overall average through the close. Flower's first three miles, covered by 26:55, stood as the strongest single stretch of her race, holding closest to sub-9:00 pace before the terrain into the later miles pulled the numbers back. Boulder's elevation, over 5,000 feet, offers useful context for that pacing shift across the back half.
