Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Jared Allen #30681 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Steady Pace Carries Jared Home in the 10K Jared Allen finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 56:39, an overall pace of 9:08 per mile. Allen's race unfolded in two distinct halves: a strong, disciplined open through 8:26, 8:40, and 9:09 miles that held his cumulative pace near 8:45, before a gradual fade through miles four and five settled him back to 8:55. His final mile eased to 10:19, closing out a race run mostly at altitude in Boulder, sitting above 5,000 feet. The middle milestwo through fourstood out as his most consistent stretch, each within roughly thirty seconds of each other despite the elevation. Given the steady effort early, Allen might look at pacing the closing miles a touch more conservatively to protect that strong start next time.
