Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Linnea Turner #30651 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Steady Pace Through the Middle, Kick in Mile Five Linnea Turner covered the 10K in 1:02:31, an average pace of 10:05 per mile. She opened with three near-identical miles around the 10:00 mark, dipped to 10:16 in mile four, then surged to a race-best 9:36 in mile five before easing to 10:52 to close things out. That fifth mile stood as her strongest sustained stretch of the morning, pulling her overall time back toward her early pace after the mid-race dip. Racing through downtown Boulder, sitting above 5,000 feet of elevation, Turner joined the 10K field that set off at 8:10 AM. Like every distance in the event, her race concluded on the historic Pearl Street Mall, closing out a well-paced effort across changing terrain.
