Strong Pace Cuts Nearly Five Minutes Off Prior 10K Diego Martinez ran 43:11 in the 2026 Boulderthon 10K, finishing 48th overall and 34th among men in a field of 3,071. That mark is a sharp improvement over his 47:44 from the 2025 Boulderthon 10K, shaving 4:33 off his previous time on the same course. Martinez's race was front-loaded: he covered the first three miles in 19:15, an average of 6:25 per mile, holding a top-40 overall position through that stretch. The back half saw a gradual fade, with his final mile ticking up to 8:12, but his early pace carried him to a finish well inside the top 10% of the field. Given that consistency early, he may find that targeting a more even effort across the back half could sharpen this result even further next time.
