Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Viacheslav Treshchev #41088 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Steady Push Through a Quick Middle Mile Viacheslav Treshchev finished the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 25:18, placing 252nd overall and 190th among men, a result that lands inside the top 10% of the field. That's a step back from his 24:47 at last year's Boulderthon 5K, when he ran 7:59 pace and cracked the top 160 overall. The race built in two distinct halves: an opening mile at 9:04, followed by a sharp drop to 7:21 for mile two, the fastest mile of his day. He settled into 8:12 for the final mile, holding that pace to the finish for an overall 8:09 mile pace. Running at altitude above 5,000 feet, Treshchev's ability to surge through that second mile stands out as the highlight of an otherwise measured effort.
