Sharp Start Fuels Top-Percentile Finish Taryn Sembrano finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:28:38, placing 120th overall out of the field of 7,223, 17th among women, and first in the F25-29 division. Sembrano opened with a 6:11 mile, the fastest of her race, then locked into a strong middle stretch from mile 3 to mile 6, holding between 6:27 and 6:29 per mile. A gradual softening followed through miles 7-9, before she steadied again over the closing miles, crossing near the lululemon Power-Up Zone around mile 9.5 as she worked back toward a 6:45 overall pace. That finishing pace held firm through the last three miles, a sign of well-managed effort at Boulder's altitude above 5,000 feet, on a half marathon course whose net elevation gain was cut nearly 50 percent for this edition.
