Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Jasmine Iganian #40806 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Strong Start Gives Way to a Tougher Final Mile Jasmine Iganian finished the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 31:18, closing out her race on the Pearl Street Mall. Her opening mile was her best of the day, clicking off at a 9:00 pace, and she held that rhythm through the second mile, crossing the 2-mile mark with a cumulative pace of 9:05. The final mile proved harder, slowing to a 12:05 split and pulling her overall pace back to 10:05 by the finish. Racing at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet adds its own demand to any effort, and Iganian's early miles showed she handled that well before fatigue caught up late. With that opening pace as a benchmark, working on sustaining it through the closing stretch could be a rewarding focus for her next Boulderthon appearance.
