Her mile splits stayed remarkably even through the first ten miles, hovering between 7:30 and 7:57, before she found another gear late. Miles 12 and 13 were her fastest of the day, closing in 7:25 and 7:11, a strong surge after a brief dip to 8:03 in mile 11. That late push through downtown Boulder, a city that sits above 5,000 feet, capped a well-paced effort that showed little fade over 13.1 miles.
