Strong Middle Mile Fuels Solid 5K Finish Julisa Granados completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 29:07, an overall pace of 9:23 per mile, in a field of 2,677 runners. Granados opened with a 9:36 first mile before surging to an 8:50 cumulative pace through mile two, her fastest mile of the race. That second-mile push built a cushion that carried her through a slower closing mile, still bringing her home with a well-paced overall effort. With the finish on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, sitting above 5,000 feet of elevation, Granados' steady effort held up well through the closing stretch.
