Strong Middle Mile Powers Solid 5K Finish Delila Herold completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 31:06, an overall pace of 10:02 per mile. Her race unfolded in three distinct phases: an opening mile at 10:11, a sharp pickup to 8:57 for mile two, and a closing mile of 11:00 to the Pearl Street Mall finish. That second mile stood out as her fastest stretch of the race by a wide margin, a solid surge through the middle of the course before the pace eased in the final mile. Finishing at altitude in Boulder, sitting over 5,000 feet, adds context to the effort across those three miles.
