Strong Middle Mile Powers Steady 5K Finish Vivienne Weston completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 31:35, an overall pace of 10:11 per mile. Her race built through a solid middle stretch before settling in for the final mile. Weston's second mile was her standout stretch, clocked at 9:17, noticeably quicker than her opening mile of 10:15. She eased slightly in the final mile, finishing with a split of 10:45, for a cumulative pace that stayed close to even across the race. Given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet, holding pace this consistently across three miles reflects solid pacing discipline. A touch more evenness between her first and third miles could help her carry that strong second-mile rhythm all the way to the line next time.
