Strong Start Carries Young Runner to a Solid 5K Finish Bellamy Weston covered the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 27:23, an 8:50 per-mile pace. Out of a field of 2,677, she finished 351st overall and 93rd among women. Weston's first mile was her fastest of the day at 7:57, and she held that rhythm through mile two, clocking 8:05 to reach the two-mile mark in 16:01. The final mile eased to a 10:20 pace, a stretch worth revisiting to see if that early speed can be sustained deeper into the race. The race finished on Boulder's historic Pearl Street Mall, a fitting close to a race run at over 5,000 feet of elevation.
