Nearly Eight Minutes Faster: A Big Personal Leap in the 5K Lynzee Hoegger crossed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 33:32, a sharp improvement over her 41:14 finish at the same race in 2025 cutting nearly eight minutes off her time. Her race built strong through the middle before easing late. She opened the first mile in 10:16, surged to a 9:37 second mile, her fastest stretch of the race, then eased to 12:44 to close. Running the race at over 5,000 feet of elevation, Hoegger's pacing shows a runner capable of a quick middle mile worth building on for a steadier final stretch next time out.
