Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Meggie Hart #41260 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Strong Middle Mile Powers Solid 5K Finish Meggie Hart crossed the line in 23:50 at the 2026 Boulderthon 5K, placing 188th overall out of the field of 2,677 and 43rd among women. That result put her just outside the top three in her 25-29 age group. Hart's race built momentum early, dropping from a 7:44 opening mile to a sharp 6:41 second mile her fastest of the race before easing to an 8:31 close. That middle-mile surge was the clear highlight of her effort, and with the finish coming on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, sitting above 5,000 feet, there's room to explore even pacing between miles one and two next time out.
