Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Jason Jensen #41357 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Strong Finish Anchors a Steady 5K Effort Jason Jensen completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 23:13, an average pace of 7:29 per mile. Jensen's opening mile came in at 7:35 before he surged to a 6:34 second mile, his fastest of the race. The final mile eased to 8:15, rounding out a race that showed a strong middle push after a controlled start. Racing at altitude in Boulder, sitting above 5,000 feet, Jensen's ability to hold pace across the field of 2,677 speaks to solid pacing execution. One optional area to consider: maintaining more of that second-mile speed through the final stretch could sharpen the overall finish time in future races.
