Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Paige Tack #42435 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Second-Place Age Group Finish Highlights Strong 5K Pace Paige Tack crossed the line in 19:08, finishing 58th overall out of 2,677 in the field and 14th among women, with a second-place finish in the F20-24 division. That result reflects a well-paced effort across a fast 5K. Her mile splits show a strong middle mile: after opening in 6:12, she surged to 5:24 for mile two, the fastest stretch of her race, before settling into 6:51 for the final mile. That first two-mile pace, averaging 5:48 per mile, stands out as the highlight of her effort. Given her closing mile, she might consider working on sustaining that early speed through the finish in future 5Ks.
