The final miles settled into the mid-7:20s to high-7:50s, a controlled taper from her early tempo. That opening 10K stretch stands out as the strongest running of the day, with her cumulative pace never slipping past 6:45 through six miles. She crossed the reservoir stretch and Boulder County backroads en route to the Pearl Street Mall finish, passing near the lululemon Power-Up Zone around mile 9.5 as her pace eased into the high-7:00s. All this came at altitude, with Boulder sitting above 5,000 feet.
