Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Mika Jefferies #40286 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Strong Second Mile Powers a Steady 5K Finish Mika Jefferies completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 29:43, an overall pace of 9:35 per mile. Her race unfolded in three distinct phases: an opening mile of 9:46, a sharp drop to 8:11 through the second mile, and a final mile that eased back to 10:46 as she crossed the line. That middle mile stood out as her fastest stretch of the day, showing a runner capable of surging when the effort called for it. The finish came at over 5,000 feet of elevation in Boulder, and like every distance in the race, hers ended on the historic Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder. With no prior Boulderthon results on record, this run now stands as her baseline for future editions.
