Her race built momentum through the middle mile before settling in over the final stretch. Her opening mile came in at 8:36, then she surged to a 7:45 second mileher fastest of the racebefore easing to a 10:17 close. That middle-mile push reflects strong pacing instincts, especially given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet.
